Is the s2000s with the drive by wire faster than the ones with electronic throttle. I ask this because yesterday i raced a 2004 sasuka blue s2k fully stock, i have a 06 s2k with an intake, headers, test pipe full exhaust, flash pro (not tuned) and this thing took off on me by two cars in the beginning and by the end i was a half a car behind. didn't miss gears nothing i was stunned, having said that my friend had a 05 sasuka s2k with the DBW and ran (stock) 13.09 on the quarter mile, this leads me to believe that there was something special about the sazuka's lol i don't know though

Not a chance. I'm not a drag racer but have another car in my garage with 393 whp. Comparably equipped cars run mid to high 12's with a good driver. Better with slicks. The S has less than half the whp and weighs about the same. A stock S will probably be more like mid 14's with a good launch and driver. YMMV.
