The car doesn't have traction control.. it has VSA.. two totally different things.

I can see why you might think they are changing their demographics but I think they are in the same market they have always been shooting for with the car and only trying to make minor improvements. The VSA can be turned off so besides the not so great looking wheels, which has nothing to do with performance, and adding small amenities like the outside temp and etc. The car is the same.

dbw is a bad idea in my opinion anything that detaches the driver from the road is no bueno.
Does that include power steering and brakes and ABS?

People said the same about these things when they were first introduced.

All of the implementations I have driven (quite a few) have sucked -- with the singular and odd exception of the Sentra SER Spec V.

I think TCS is a subset of VSA. VSA relies on yaw sensors and wheel speed sensors and uses throttle and individual brakes to correct instability. I would be surprised if rear wheels spinning faster than front and lurching left didn't trigger VSA.

the NSX comment is interesting that they have had it since 95 and never heard anybody really complain about it before on them.

My TL has it and it sucks, I mean it really sucks. You have to blip the throttle to let the computer know that you intend on moving forward alot. It is the single most annoying thing on the TL. I'm so glad I got the O5 s2k.

I've heard a lot of complaints from the TL about it but none on NSX.. I wonder what is different about it.
