Default Drivin' me crazy...

All of this s2000 talk in the dead of winter is driving me me nuts.

Lookin' at the car packed away in the garage and checking the battery tender is just makin'it worse.

I may have to sign out until spring

Haha, that does suck. Luckily for me it doesn't usually get too cold where I am at. Did dip into the 30's for a bit but so far it's been a mild winter, averaging abournd 45 degrees. No snow accumulation or anything...some slick rain here and there.

A car cover helped me a bit during winter hibernation.

HIBERNATION DOES SUCK.

I just got my s2000 in oct of last year. I had it for 4 weeks and I parked her for winter. I didn't even get to know her at all and I took the batt out I said good bye until the weather breaks.

I did go and sit in her 2 weeks ago and made engine noises. Vroom Vroom!!!!

I cannot wait until the weather breaks and I can get to know her, upgrade the headunit, install a modifry DCI, and replace the cluster surround. Then new tires and wheels and she will be good to go.

I wish it would be that simple but with all the crap they put on the roads (salt, sands, rocks, etc.) to make the roads safer, I'd rather let it sit in the garage.

Get some winter tires and drive to the car wash once in a while.

I'm in the same boat as you. Luckily, we do get a good day here every once in awhile during the winter. This past Saturday was sunny and almost 50, so I took her for a quick blast down the freeway. Unfortunately the roads were still pretty damp. This car is just making it THAT much harder to wait until the good weather is back
