Driving with the emergency brake on
You should always come to a complete stop BEFORE using your brakes. Failure to do so could lead to unnecessary wear to your brake pads....
One winter my ebrake cable froze. I had released the handle, but the brake was still engaged. The car seemed a little sluggish driving to work. As I was exiting the freeway I noticed that I had no brake pressure (the fluid had boiled). Fortunately the ramp was uphill, and I was able to coast to a stop. The moral: leaving your ebrake on could be hazardous to your health.

I often do the 1 click of the ebrake, just enough so I can put the top down, and then by the time I get to the top if my driveway im like "what the hell is that beepi--oh yeah"
Totally fine. I drive with me e-brake on (@ 1 click) for a few seconds sometimes (because I need to put the top down while moving slowly in traffic).
Just wears out your rear pads quicker ...
