Anyways, I'm interested in watching this movie. It's called "Grand Prix" and was made in the 60's?

Bieg

Yours was a 73 red Spit mine was a 72 BRG MGB. I idolized Jim Clark as you did. I'd have sold my soul to be on Dan Gurney's pit crew.

I've waited 20 years for the S2000. I don't care if we show our age, we're both old enough to truly appreciate it. I loved the old British roadsters but the S is in a class of it's own.

If you don't stop writing these great articles, I'm never going to get away from this computer. This memory and yesterday's article about S. Honda, wow. I can't wait to read the next one.

Keep these essays coming, Bieg! They a breath of air fresh air from the routine posts on this board, including most of the drivel that I put up.

I felt the emotion in your essay and went through many of the same experiences in my teens, including idolizing Jimmy Clark. But I started with a TR-3 Loved the Spitfire, though.

Thanks for giving us some very good reading!

Nice story Bieg, mine was a 1960 British Racing Green Austin-Healy Sprite. As for being an old F1 fan. I named my first son Graham, after British driving great Graham Hill.

P.S my Springer Spaniel is named Nigel, any guesses?

Grand Prix is a must see for anyone who loves racing. It makes Driven look like the most pathetic film ever made.
