Default Driving gloves?

Okay now, don't flame me for this cuz I'm asking seriously.

Alright, this is after the accident I had couple of years ago, but when I do group driving with my friends I get nervous sometimes and my palms get sweaty.
I mean real sweaty that my steering wheel/shift knob gets wet, and it's really irritating nonetheless.
Are there any good driving gloves that don't look too ghey?
I'm looking for a thin, functional driving gloves, not aesthetics.

Golf gloves maybe?

Dan

I use baseball gloves. Fits nice and tight and has very good grip.

Go to leatherglovesonline, and see what they got. I have the lamb skins, and they give me that grip and feel I like for long drives. Who cares what someone thinks of them. Golf gloves fit the best for me. Or just google driving gloves and see what comes up.

Thanks for the tips, guys.
I saw that online, but I want to try the gloves before buying it, so I was looking for an offline store.

I'll try the baseball gloves

If you order from most any online shops, you can order several sizes, and styles and keep the pair you like, and send the rest back. Try a little talcum powder in each glove if you really sweat bad.

make sure to get something that lets your hands breathe...also the sweat form your palms eats away the steering wheel so gloves are god to have regardless

Wilson's Leather always has leather driving gloves - open and closed fingers.

I am an avid cyclist and have dozens of cycling gloves. These gloves are fingerless, leather palmed, breathable backs with a terrycloth thumb section to wipe sweat and nose discharges (yuck). I used a pair for my track day school and the teacher liked them enough to ask where they were purchased.

I prefer a full finger glove which is why I also use batting gloves.
Nike makes a nice one that fits well, breathes well, and is pretty much just a solid black color.
