Driving on old fluids?
Finally getting my license back so I'm getting the S back in shape. The car has been sitting in the garage for a little over 2 years (covered, of course). I plan to drive it to the dealer to get the fluids changed on tuesday. My question is how bad will it be for the engine driving the 15 miles it will take to get to the dealer? Does the differential fluid, oil, coolant, etc have some sort of expiration date? Thanks in advance.

Can you change the engine oil yourself or is that out of the question? Other than that, the tranny and diff can wait. Your coolant should still be fine though.

You may need a new battery as well. Will it even start? As stated above, you could change the oil as a precaution.

I'd start it every month or so in the 2 years of hibernation. So it's not like it hasn't been turned on in 2 years.
I'm most likely going to change all the fluids. Just didn't know how bad 2 year old oil would be on the engine.
I just finished detailing the entire car and I'm dying to take it out. Someone just tell me it ain't that bad so I can.
