Drove an SC'd S2K tonight
Don't forget a 6sp C5. That car is mid-high 12's with an air filter and exhaust, and has a much higher top speed than the S2K. I would hate to think how hard a C5 would go if IT were supercharged as well!
Still, the Comptech sounds VERY appealing. However, is there any improvement in low down power?

I hear constantly how fun a SC'd car is to drive... but I cannot drive the SC'd car in my garage (I just finished installing the SC) because my new wheels haven't arrived yet (old ones are long since sold)...

Sime, the LS1 cars actually are monsters with turbochargers. 450 wheel hp is not uncommon. Don't mess with them. Jim was telling me a stock Z06 dyno'd the same day he did. The Z06 put down 320-330 wheel hp. Considering that the S2K is over 200 lbs lighter than the Z06, it would probably be a good race (but the Z06 would probably pull ahead). The regular C5 Vette puts down around 300 wheel hp and weighs more than the Z06, so it would be a good race, with the edge potentially going to the SC S2K (depending on heatsoak issues).
