Dry Ice Induction System
Does anyone have a Dry Ice Induction System on their S2000, or know of anyone who does? If you do, did it seem to make any difference. It seems like it might be a good idea in theory.

Seems like a lot of work for street driving - might be useful for drags. I also wonder what the heat exchange efficacy is - how many degrees can it drop from ambient?
Ford has developed a much "cooler" approach in terms of practicality. For their SC'd F150, and perhaps later on the 2006 Cobra, they will divert some of the A/C coolant at WOT, allowing for a bit more spark advance and fuel metering to keep power up for a few seconds. In those vehicles, a few secs are all that is needed. Then the system re-accumulates its cool, so it stays armed and ready to go.
Handling solid CO2 is cumbersome and you need gloves - but the design in your link does not appear to have a very sophisticated mechanical heat exchange design - no fins or heat sinks (used in reverse) to optimally capture the cold, and effectively exchange it into the intake charge. Maybe they could hook up The Tornado.
