My heart dropped as I drove by Car West Auto Body in Dublin, CA yesterday. It made me sick to think that one of our beautiful vehichles had been damaged. It was Silver. I couldnt see the damage, but I was just curious if it belonged to one of the members of this board?

Tedbay from San Ramon posted not long ago that he slid off Calaveras Road and damaged his car. He has a silver/red if I remember correctly. Wonder if it's his?

It is mine! hope to pick it up later this week. the trunk and rear bumper have been replaced/fixed. I CANNOT WAIT to have it back - I love this car.

Wondering if any of you guys live in Greystone Ranch in San Ramon (I do). My son says there is a guy with a red S2K who lives in the neighborhood.

Well, mine's next for the shop. I did about the dumbest thing anyone could. Was setting a rat trap in the top rail of my garage...standing on my workbench. When I reached for the stepdown (a 5-gallon bucket of HTH pool chemical) I missed and landed butt first on the corner of the hood of my Silver/Red baby. One part of it creased down but another part went up. My wife said I should be thankful it was parked in the garage as it probably prevented a broken tailbone or worse!

Tedbay, you slid off on Calaveras? Where? That's my neck of the woods, I live off of Calaveras in Sunol. Go through there every day.

As a result, mine has two tone paint. The bottom third of all my side panels is covered in MUD! No, I don't go four wheeling, they just don't do a good job of cleaning my road!

Humantek,

Haven't installed the cover yet, but maybe this weekend. I'll let you know when it's done.
