Default duct tape

So when I purchase my car I noticed the drivers side muffler hanging a little low. Upon inspection I saw that the hanger had broken off. No biggie I can just make another. Well I've been putting it off for about a month and 3 days ago I noticed it sagging more and see that the rear hanger on my muffler is about to go. So I figured I had a few days max before it breaks. I called in a favor at a friends shop and arranged to bring it there last night. Well sure enough I broke on the way, so I stopped at the first department store I see to get a coat hanger, they only had plastic ones. So I started looking for other options and decided duct tape is the best bet lol. So I went to the parking lot pulled out the roadside jack and held it in place while I wrapped around the muffler and hanger lol. As I was doing it I hear a little kid say daddy what's he doing to his car and his dad said he's fixing it, I couldn't help but to burst out laughing. Well needless to stay it made the 30 mile drive and I'm sure it could have went way further.

Is there anything you guys keep in your car for a just in case moment?

I didn't think duct tape would have made it 30 miles, good to know.
Cleaners are your best place to find wire hangers.

I keep oil, water (two or three bottles)and a flashlight.

I keep duct tape, coolant, 4 quarts of oil, a bottle of dot4 brake fluid, screwdrivers/ socket set/ wrenches, flashlight, fire extinguisher, air pump/ air plug kit, and Sunblock lol.

Oh yeah, I'm ready...

btw nice job on reinforcing your exhaust. I'm actually surprised at how durable that stuff really is!

yeah i was actually surprised it made it that far myself. so a few other things i was thinking to keep in the trunk is some zip ties,a bungee cord, a few hose clamps and a tire plug kit they are all small things which will fit in a ziplock bag in your oem jack kit area. this is my first convertible so sunblock is a good idea lol
