although the s is advertised to have power locks it really doesn't. i've found all you can do is lock both doors by manually locking the driver's side lock.

So it's built into the same door lock switch. With the exception of not being able to unlock the passenger door (an easy mod to add on), how's this different from having a separate switch that does the same thing? It's still "power" door locks because each door's lock uses a solenoid (thus, power). Not having an extra button to push doesn't make it a "manual" door lock.
