Does anybody know of a shop that deals with IMPORTS that has a chassis dyno in the Long Island area?

 

there isn't one that deals with imports. Lots of domestic shops on Long Island. Your best bet would be Queens at DRT.

there's not? perhaps true, but i'd betcha Ultima Performance in Lynbrook knows where you can get time on one. ALL they do is imports, the owner has an S2000 (and lurks around here), and is an all-around nice guy. www.ultimaperformance.com - ask for mike, tell him seth from delaware sent you from this forum.

No problem Seth, glad to know you lived on Long Island for 25 years. You are correct I saw Delaware and assumed you didn't know about the Long Island environment. Sorry if I offended. But, I am correct that there really are no import specific shops on Long Island that dyno and tune. So if Mike sent him to a shop on Long Island to get tuning it would be like the blind leading the blind. DRT is the closest place to Long Island with a dyno and specifically deals with imports.

Remember, you're statement was "there's not? perhaps true, but i'd betcha Ultima Performance in Lynbrook knows where you can get time on one" I stand by my first statement, those guys are more show then go. Just something to think about when taking advice on who should tune your car. Don't get me wrong I've met the guys from Ultima before, all nice guys with great looking cars.

 

Doesn't Joey who used to work at Claws have a shop in LI now?
