I'd keep the M3 as well, especially if I lived in SoCal. The S2000 is not fun to drive in traffic. It's made for mountain/canyon curves!

 

Do it. I went from an 03 S2K to an M3 for several years and now back into an 06 S2K.

The M3 was a total money pit, unfortunately.

Just picked up the S2K on Friday and couldn't be happier. Paid cash and already have a Vortech supercharger ordered.

 

nice.... lol yeah the m3 is a monety pit and turbo or super is like 9k atleast.

 

Wait, if you've owned an S why do you need our opinion on purchasing another one? Wouldnt you know the ins and outs of the car?

 

keep the M3! and yeah get something wit lower mileage the S you saw is already due for allota maintenance..

 

Hard decision IMO..I'd say sell the M, and get a lower mileage S if possible. The M3 over time is probably gonna cost a lot more in maint. items then the S should. Or kick the E46 and get an E30 M3

I am in your same situation and I cry at the very thought of getting another S......honestly, the m3 is just another car.....the S, however, holds something in my heart though

Wow I'm actually thinking about getting an M3 as my next car after the S.
