I have no technical ability whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I am a little worried about installing my own

It IS as easy as it sounds. You'll do fine.

Very easy. I would be careful to hold onto or clamp the cable, I let go of one and had to "fish" it out with a coat hanger - took about 10 seconds! Definitely the easiest mod next to the stickers on the visors!

Just one word of caution; when you pull the rear end of the lamp out, try to pull it out as little as possible, edging the clip out. I made some marks in the paint under the front end of the lamp by being a bit impatient. Just do it slow and easy and you'll be fine.

One other tip - There are RIGHT and LEFT side markers. I thought that they didn't fit until I realized that they had R and L on them! If they don't snap right in, you're got them on the wrong side.

use a tape covered screwdriver when taking out the side markers so don't scratch the paint.

I had no problems. I used a dremmel to modify the new clips and put them in backwards. I have the civic ones, I'm not sure which you have.

If you have to use a screwdriver on the ones you get from MGRacing, your doing something wrong!!

The only time you will need a small flat edge (I think I used a metal nailfile) is push in the little lock-tab that holds the wiring harness to the light assembly.

Just push assembly forward and pull straight out from the car. If I can do it, you can. It took all of 2min for me to do it for the first time.

The German ones from MG Racing were a breeze to install (after I figured out there was a left and right). I didn't even use the new bulb caps - just uncrewed the existing ones and plugged them straight into the new lens covers. We all know they're not really worth $50, but if they make for a perfect fit and easy install, I'm happy with them.
