Default Eastbound and down

Leaving now from San Diego to Anderson, SC. If I'm lucky I'll be there in time for dinner tomorrow night.

If you live in a southern state and see a red blur go by with a rubber chicken hanging out the back, do not be alarmed. It's just me.

Hope to see some of you out there! Last time I did this I only saw one S2000, sitting at a dealer's lot somewhere in Texas...

2300 miles and 35 hours later...

Saw a Suzuka Blue about 100 miles outside San Diego on the 8, and a Silverstone at mile marker 418 in Texas on the 20. Got 35 mpg from Abilene, Texas to Shreveport, LA - 325 miles on 9.25 gallons of gas!

The car didn't use a DROP of oil. Wow.

Thought my drive was a long one 972 miles, 16 hours from Florida to Maryland last Wednesday. Best gas mileage I got was 32.2 MPG on one tank, the others were about 26-27 MPG. Used about a half Qt of oil.

Only saw two S2000s. The first one was at exit 100 in South Carolina it was a Silverstone, it was on the south bound side I was headed north. I'm sure he didn't see me, he was to busy have a conversation with one of
South Carolinas "finest".
The second was a red one on the Washington Beltway. I waved as I passed but couldn't see if he return it as it was to dark.

I'll be doing my return run on Dec 30.

Hope you have a safe trip and a happy holiday!
