As suggested, to make the STB fit, I removed one side of the bar... placed it on, added the bar... All is good and FITS FINE! My mistake, my bad, my error. The Comptech STB fits the '02 just fine.

Then how do we explain the difficulty with the RM STB? What was different that prevented a simple lift and drop from the old to the new? Maybe the bolts were angled differently?

I assume that removes the speculation that the front suspension changed on the 2002?

From his previous post, it did look like the STB wouldn't fit. Aaron was big enough to admit he was wrong - that should be the end of it. We all got to learn something.

Measure the exposed thread - I think the bolt may be slightly longer.
