Ebay Ap2 headlights on a Ap1
Hey I was wondering if Ap2 style headlights from ebay,will they fit on a Ap1?

yes, and no.
the headlights will fit just fine, but you will need Ap2 ballasts, and ignitors as well. Although i cannot 100% confirm ignitors. but 100% sure about needing the Ap2 ballast.
However the projector on these headlights is absolute trash and will be need to be replaced.
You have two options to replace the projector lens, or i can assure you this is a total waste of money.
1: you can source a oem ap1 or ap2 projector lens (ap1 is a supperior lens as far as color)
2: you can order some aftermarket lenses from a reputable brand like retrofit source. I would contact them as
i know they sell a lens alone.

Seconding all of this! Ap1 headlights are regarding as ONE OF THE BEST LOW BEAM PROJECTORS, EVER.
truth be told, 04-05 ap2 headlights had AP1 lenses in ap2 housings, but they are few and far between. i got lucky.
OP stay away from Ebay headlights.
