Default Ebay Bride seats

I can't see how they'd be authentic at only 400 dollars for the pair, but alas, that is cheap for two seats. I'm guessing these wouldn't be up to standard in a crash or something right?

Well I know that they have to be fake, the guy is selling a ton on ebay. But for 600 shipped for two seats that looks the same as the real thing, that is a hell of a deal.

It's not that I'm trying to have a car look like it's something else and be ricey - I have a 9 thousand dollar turbo kit, SSR wheels, Bilstein coils, etc. I'm not cheap, but if I can get something that looks the same for 1/3 of the price, that is a good deal.

The only thing I'm concerned about is safety in a crash and fitment.

Seats would be one of the few things I would NOT want to skimp out on. I dont have a problem getting Rota wheels or lowering my car with springs instead of coilovers, but I do NOT trust seats that are made for the purpose of making someone money. They are designed to be a quick-sell, and are not approved for racing and serious impacts. I just think my body (and my passenger's) is worth more than 600.00

I wouldn't trust those seats at all in a crash. Some knockoff or generic seats I've seen are poorly constructed. If you don't want to spend a whole lot and want decent quality seats, look at Corbeau.

The Corbeaus look nice, how good are they at holding you in place? I have a 30" waiste and slide around in the OEM seat like a roller coaster seat.

Are there alternative rails?
