As long as they are straight through design (looking into the muffler), they are pretty much same. If anything the diameter of inlet might be different and maybe sound will differ.

The issue isn't where they came from. Someone could be selling a J's Racing exhaust on ebay, and I buy it. I can say that it's an "ebay" exhaust.

Those cheap $30 exhausts are most likely made by teams of child-laborers in China, and the company did absolutely no testing on them. You will probably loose some hp, and as well as make your car sound horrible. They will probably rust very fast as well.

If you want a cheap exhaust, buy one or two Megan mufflers for $100, and take them to your exhaust shop, and get some 2.5 inch SS piping for them.

Seriously who cares where they are from. I just went to a muffler shop and had them cut my stock exhaust from the Y-pipe and put new piping in. Those two new pipes flow into magnaflow muffler. It sounds great and it cost me $300.
I had magnaflow on all my previous cars and loved it.
Hope do they sound? Wich muffler did you go with? Pics/sound clips?

I'd like to know as well. I can't imagine buying 2 Magnaflow mufflers, having a custom "Y pipe" made, and all installed for $300. If this is true...what a deal!

lol omg dude

i dont know why some people (i wont name names) who own replica parts that serve NO purpose whatsoever (CF hoods, strut bars, etc.) have the courage to flame on someone who wants an eBay muffler. if you spend the big bucks for shit that works, then that's fine. but if you buy knock off shit that provides nothing useful over stock parts then just keep your mouth shut.
