Default ebay Replica Spoon Air Ducts on ap2

Does anyone know anything about the replica Spoon Air Ducts? The ones I've seen on ebay all say the are only for the ap1's.

Does anyone know if this is true or not?

AP2's have a support bar behind the bumper that doesn't allow the duct to fit.

You have to remove that bar on your AP2 before you can fit it.

What's the negative side effect to moving that bar?

Honda added it to increase torsional rigidity. Removing it would be counter productive to that.

Yep, which is why I then added a 4pt strut bar!

So, basically, all AP2 owners don't get to have a snorkel unless they remove that bar...

Damn.
