I noticed this on knobmeister.com - they have a lot of products for the Miata, but I'm unsure if one of these lowering kits are compatible with the s2000, what do you think?

I'm pretty sure this kit will work on the S2K, as well as a number of other vehicles. I've got a similar kit in my garage, but have never installed them. We may need to have a workshop and put them on several stooks with different wheels and do a comparison.

If there is enough interest, maybe we can get a group buy. Giampero?

It's a low cost alternative for sure, but as such there is a drawback: the resulting ride height depends on your wheel size, the kit is more effective with the stock 16" wheels...

If you're looking for another economical way to lower the car - try brick. It's quick, it's easy and you can adjust your ride height at any time by simply adding or removing bricks from your trunk. If anyone is interested, I think I can arrange a group buy at - lets try for $9.99/brick + S/H ???

Rev - they would have to be pretty solid bricks to gain interest. Of course, there are always cinder blocks, but those are hollow in the center and do not provide much weight for the amount of space they require to 'install'. *ponders*

I'd definately be interested in a GB on the items Tex. Lets hope G. can hook us up! I'd definately pay a few bucks more for a Spoon version too!

We could always do what the F1 teams do to control ballast.

Cheaper than brick would be.... nails. Plus you get a cool "flop.. flop.. flop" sound when you roll.
