OK, Im thinking about switching my ecu to 02+, becouse I heard that MY00 ecu doesn't respond to mods to well, so where can I find 02+ ecu Ive been looking but I cannot locate it anywhere. How much would it cost?

Also what do you guys think of spoon ecu, I found one on ebay, this is the link:LINK

It's not that the 00-01 ecu doesn't respond to mods well, the 02-03 ecu's have more agressive timing and fuel hence the reason why they make a little more power.

Also, I believe if you change out the ecu you'll gonna have to get the imoblizers reprogramed again. To my knowledge tenblade2001 is a person that I know of the did this mod. Maybe he'll post his thoughts about it

 

Thanx, I know about imobilizer, but Im starting to mod my car and I will have parts arraiving next week or so, and I would like to get most out of them, I was thinking about spoon or mugen but Im not 100% sure yet.

I just want to replace my ecu, that's all, either 02+(which I think would me more cost effective) or wait a little bit and buy spoon or mugen ecu(sorry I forgot to write ecu in my 2nd post. )

 

If you want the 02 ECU then just look up Hardtopguy (site sponsor Ganley Honda) and he will fix ya up.
