ECU changes....

Default ECU changes....

does the s2k still pass inspection if the ecu are modified, or changed like to the mugen ecu?

I would say that's a little difficult to answer as we have no idea from your profile where you reside. Is this a state or local inspection? Is it an emissions inspection? Give us something to work with.

Additionally you can call King directly and ask them. They'd probably be a better help than all of us.

I'm moving to NJ in about a month... I have the Mugen ECU and no catalyst...

BUT that's why I kept the stock ECU and catalyst... both can be changed in under an hour, so it shouldn't matter...

Mike,

I have dyno-ed the car... 280 at the rear wheels...

... but that's with headers, no cat, new exhaust, bored TB, extrude/honed intake manifold, new ECU... AND a supercharger.

I keep the Mugen ECU only for its low end power... I think it leans me out a bit at the high end and of course offers no engine retardation due to heat...

I'm not sure it's worth it for $1500 though...
