Rear bumper cutouts? Is that as simple as just cutting out the bumper material? How much of an impact will this make?

And what's a gurney?

I wasn't gonna comment, but while that will reduce drag it really shouldn't significantly reduce rear lift.

This is what a gurney flap really is (http://www.insideracingtechnology.com/tech104gurney.htm) but I think he meant a nascar style spoiler.

No, actually I meant a real Gurney lip, as in a very very small flap.

BTW, krazik, don't lie. You know you got the house with 2-car garage because your S2000 wouldn't fit in a 1-car.

would a rear tray like this (from science of speed) be more/less effective than one like the one Seung uses? and why?

also.. whats the deal with the AXLE exhaust system that they say needs to be used with one version of this tray?

put the mugen 3pc wing on. those undertrays are buku bucks and won't be nearly as effective.

Both that piece, Axle, and the J's Racing rear diffuser work better than the Top Secret one, IMO, but the J's is much cheaper than the Axle.

They won't be nearly as effective as a wing though, but can compliment a good 3D wing.

There are two versions of the Axle, and as you can see in the picture, the Axle exhaust works with the diffuser. The other version requires some cutting to fit whatever exhaust you have.

Krazik: Cutouts in the rear bumper both reduces drag and lift because it reduces the turbulance in the back of the car, which is a source of lift. Also, 3D wings will have less drag and turbulance as a normal wing, so you can try and make an improved version of your giant wing.

trust me, I know about cutting bumpers

yes they have less drag, but the wing I have is acutally a very functional wing and was -the- spec wing for Speed TC. Now its only the spec for some cars.

If I wanted to spend more (like >2k) I can get a more effecient one, but mine only runs about 700.

Any links to the J's rear?

Also... is a "3D" wing simply a style of wing or is that the tuner's name?
