Default Eibach owners: please look here......

I had my Eibach springs installed for approximlately a week now. My front fender gap is approx. 1.75" and rear is 1.25"
Is this normal??

That`s fairly normal depending on what you have in the trunk. A lot of people measure ride height by simply using fender gap or what I call "the finger system". One finger, two etc. Sometimes even if there is more gap in the front if, the car is actually sitting level, where it should be. You also have to factor in the rake of the vehicle.

If you want a "one finger" gap front and rear, best thing to do is just use a full coilover or at least a set of Ground Controls.

I heard people saying that during the installation, the suspention must be put under load before tignten the bolts. Thus, I doubt if mine is installed correctly at the first place. When i measured my fender gap, my car is empty, both the cabin and the trunk. nothing extra besides few CD in the center compartment.

You should post a few pics or at least e-mail me a few. I can eyeball it and tell you if something is wrong or not.

I will try to take a few pic, probably tomorrow. It's raining hard outside right now. I appreciate your help.
