I noticed the HID light temperature or the "color" on the 00' models are more bluish or purplish. When the locals go out for a happy hour, local street races, or coming back from a long drive/meet at night, I can easily tell which ones are the 00 and which ones are the 01 or 02.

The 00 model's HID is a lot more brighter with more blue/purple from any angle. Is this controlled by the bulb alone or the unit? (the metal case underneath the housing)
