Sold my FA5 Si, the guilty pleasures just keep on giving. I've used mine as a pickup truck to haul an air conditioner around, carry 4 tires, etc. Just do it.

Thank you guys so much for the input!

I'm making the move on purchasing an S2000 right now. The next step is to sell the Element private party.

I figured it's good time in my life to not worry about being so practical, after all, I'm single with no kids. Also, it will probably be a good experience overall.

I just hope I can make it happen!

Depends on where you live. Any further north than NC on the east cost or anywhere that gets much snow or salts the roads I'd say no way.

I agree with this. The S2K is not made any longer and it is a unique car. I know some drive it all winter in snow country. Not me. The road salt here in Vermont is a significant thing and there is no doubt it shortens the life of our cars. I want this S2K to last as long as possible.

As long as you fit comfortably in the S2000 then I think it is fine. I am 6'5" and the car becomes very uncomfortable after an hour of driving.

Also so if you can keep the car in a garage you won't have to stress as much about security.

I daily my S and love it - why drive something else and not take every opportunity to put the top down and enjoy a great car?

Luckily for you 10/10 women prefer the s2000 over that rolling birth control they call the Element

I personally hate dailying the S2000. But OP as a single male driving an Element, you gotta make the switch!

LOL my wife drives a 2010 Element AWD, and in this case, I think it is an awesome car to have. Our go-to road tripper.

I'd like to add that I'm not discouraging you from getting your dream S2000. But if you do live anywhere you'll see snow OR need a more practical car sometimes you can always get a cheap beater like a Suzuki sidekick or grand vitara for less than 2 grand. I actually have a Sidekick and I love it. Cheap, reliable and useful.

Thanks, I live in the Bay Area, California, so snow isn't an issue.
