Thumbs down EMERGENCY HELP PLEASE: broke 1 bolt for header

those bolts are mounted inside the engine and you can only remove the nuts. but i attached a pole to my socket to make it easier to tighten one of them (when installing my mugen header) and it broke off. all the rest are fine. what should i do? there's 7 total and 6 are fine so should i just leave it until something happens? is something likely to happen? should i drive the car? HELP PLEASEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I'm guessing you broke the stud.

You will need to extract it. If part of it is sticking out, try vice grips. Otherwise you will have to drill it out and retap the hole. Not a fun process.

might have a slight exhaust leak...no way to know till you try starting it and listen for a hissing noise.

i don't hear a hissing, but a kind of sandy noise (like sand running through the pipes) that people say is normal to hear once you install an aftermarket header

This is something that you WILL need to fix, you can't just ignore it.

Take it to a local shop. Will probably charge you less than $100.
