Default The End All Weight Reduction Thread

Basically, there are a few weight reduction threads i came across when searching, but none of them are really that good....so lets discuss all the ways to remove weight from the S!

Lets try to make this thread include some specific items and ideas that people have used or tried. Also some more obvious or not so obvious ideas, like spare tire being obvious, brakes being not as obvious.

For example:

if you bought a carbon fiber trunk, tell us how much you saved over stock and what trunk it is.

Thanks!

let the weight reduction begin!

most parts when swapped out can save you weight.
ie: stock airbox and exhaust (for a single)

Swapping out the oem seats for racing seats, even the more DD friendly reclinable racing seats will also save weight.
