Swapping out the oem seats for racing seats, even the more DD friendly reclinable racing seats will also save weight.
That sounds like a good idea. I think I might start looking into that.

I wanted to do this too, but our 06+ seats include sensors for airbags and seatbelt alarm. I prefer to keep these safety features and am just awaiting a fix.

I still don't know if a fix has been made yet for people with 06+ seats to put in racing seats.

Can anyone else chime in on this?

Lightweight exhaust system, spare and tools removal, lightweight 16 inch tires and mags, lightweigh seats, lose the AC(useless if you have the top down IMHO)

I think that's the best compromise for a daily driver. Maybe lose 130 pounds and notice but you won't notice that big of a difference. Add to that another 20HP at the crank and then it will be worth it.

260HP and 2650 pounds. That is not unrealistic and shouldn't destroy your budget and daily-drive ability.

light weight battery, body panels of carbon and what others already said. i.e. exhaust, header, cat, for aftermarket = big weight difference.
