Just red'd a postcard form Mike Colby informing me that the last issue of Sport Compact Car will be March 2009. The remainder of the subscription will be to Modified Magazine. This is the end of a great mag - the issue on suspension (featuring S2000s) was a classic.

 

 

oh thats too bad. I enjoyed reading it, even if it was just another mag used to push more market bs, and it did seem to get anorexic over the years.rip.

 

i used to have a subscription to sport compact back in 2003, all the other tuner mags were crap and it seemed that sport compact was always substantially thicker. recently browsing the stores i've noticed it has waned a bit and like all the other magazines is lightweight. i'd think all the magazines are doomed to failure with too many car specific internet sites/forums. i could read honda magazine but i really don't want to learn about civics, integras, and rsx's...

 

aww that sucks, yup the economy is in rough times
