Hello guys! I was wondering if you could answer a simple question for me. Does the S2K have a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation?? I was in a debate with a friend of mine and I really didn't have an answer. I thought it was counter, but I could be wrong. Any answers?? Thanks!!

I thought it was clockwise. The starter rotation is clockwise as viewed from the gear end.

It's clockwise. The other Honda motors are the typical Honda counterclockwise rotation.

If it's different than most other engines, than it may be something to bring up. Like hey, did you know that the Honda S2000 spins in the opposite direction of other Honda Motor Company engines, which is the opposite of other automakers' engines.

I checked this morning and speaking from the engine's perspective, it spins counterclock.

Just what is the "engine's perspective" anyway? I've never been able to figure that out. Is it when you're looking from cyl no. 4 to no. 1? Or the opposite? Wouldn't it be better to say whether the crank turns towards or away from the intake track? Of course, that only works with inline engines...
