Default Engine area clean

Hey guys I was wondering if many of you keep a clean look inside the hood? How often do you guys do clean up in there and if so, what kind of products do you guys use?

I try to keep my engine bay spotless. There are two ways:

1. I don't drive in the rain or snow and let all that crap kick up into the engine bay.

2. Everytime I wash the car I spend 10 or 15 mintues wiping off dirt and dust in the engine bay. This includes things like the dirt that accumulates on the inside of the pulleys on the front of the engine. A littlle maintenance of this kind once or so a week is all that is required to keep it spotless.

Here's a picture of what it looks like:

Meguire's Extra is great for that kind of stuff.
It also works for cleaning the exhaust tips.

I notice Rick and M3kvb both have the same intake and covers over their engine. I believe some of those parts I saw selling at Rick's store. I was wondering are most of those parts intallable by a novice (someone who knows almost nothing about mech eng) or do they have to be done by experts. I really want some of those things that makes you guy's engine bay look so nice, but don't think i'am willing to spent the extra cash on installations.

Most of those pieces are decorative and take no mechnical know-how to install.

It's the stock cover, but it's been powder coated in a gloss dark red.
