Default Engine bay accessory help

I bought one of teh coastal metals engine bay accessories from another member and was not able to install it due to some wires being right in the way where it needs to go. When I told him about this he said he has an '03 and that his doesn't have these wires. My question is am I the only person that has these here and does anyone know what they are for? I would like to install the plate but unless I can remove and reroute these wires it won't go in there. Thanks.

Here is a pic off their site showing their car without the wires and then 2 of mine showing that I do have them right where the plate needs to rest against the condensor bracket:

Weird, then I wonder what the deal is. The instructions only say to remove the front piece with the rubber seal on it, put the plate in and butt it up against the condensor bracket and reinstall the front piece. This is not possible to do with these wires there and the instructions (with pics) make no mention of them. Oh well, I guess I could cut it to fit around the wires. I didn't really want to move the wires or cut the "pretty" powder coated plate but I guess in order to use it something has got to get changed. Does anyone even have this thing on their car?

I know the loom on the passenger side carries several wires, in particular the horn, and I believe a couple for the AC condensor sensor. Don't remember what the loom on the driver's side carries.

Rather than cutting the plate, why not just pull out those white wire wrap holders and push the wiring down and put the plate over top? That's what's done in your first picture (see the holes where the white things were pushed into?). If you ever want to go back to stock, just buy new white things and you're good to go again.

It's for "neatness", to tidy up the engine bay. It won't hurt anything if they are not secured where they are.

Well I went out and tried that xviper. I removed the 4 clips holding the wires to the bracket (broke one ). I took of the front molding piece and proceeded to try and fit this thing in there. Funny thing is that even with the wires not in the way this thing still doesn't fit. I tried every which way it could possibly go and every angle, offset etc. It just simply does not fit well. The only position that I could get it in where it kinda matched up and fit slightly causes the front molding piece to be put up at an angle and binds it against the piece and also won't allow the 5 bolts that hold the molding on to go back in. I now understand why this piece is so cheap and why it seems no one has it. I finally ended up putting it in the only place that I felt it fit properly, the trashcan outside. Thanks for your help anyway.

Sorry to hear of your woes. I actually expected you to break every one of those white wire holders. Oh well, they should be cheap enough to replace.
I've never seen one in person, but from the looks of the picture, it appears as though the stock slanted airguide must be removed first. Did you do that?
