engine questions
sorry, im sure you've probably heard this post before, i just can't really find it.
i just test drove an 2003 s2000 today...dear god. you people don't know how lucky you are. i was about to bend down and kiss its tires. very...very...nice car. i am surely going to get one.
not saying it lacks power at all...but what would be the first upgrades you would do besides FI? is there any specific part about the car that could be better? if you could give me some information, or just link me to a similar post. that'd be great. thanks.
(PS. i was confused and posted this in two of the other sections in correctly, sorry).

im still new to tuning the S but personally i want new gears to be my first mod maybe along with a clutch upgrade and or comptech differential. like i said... im not sure, still have lots to learn but....=\ just my piece of mind
yeah well i would always love to make it sound better, but performance is my main priority. specifically, acceleration. i should look into a new final drive gear. air intake improves performance too no?

that makes sense. doesn't the final drive gear screw up your gas milage? don't care much if it does but itd be good to know.
is there just one brand that makes an aftermarket fdg?

any other good brands you'd recommend, or are they all virtually the same since they just change the gear ratio?

it may affect mileage slightly. 5-10 miles per tank maybe?
there are several manufacturers. the 4.1 and 4.44 are made by Mazda. The 4.57 is made by richmond. The 4.77 is a kia sportage part of all things.
