I really want to be able to drive this next winter because i just bought this car and i love it! I've never even ridden in a car so fast! I figure the k20 swap would be the best as it is capable of more power and i will be able to drive the car in the winter since it will be fwd. Win win!!! If you or anyone who has done this swap before could help that would be awesome!

People have done just about everything with cars but I am quite certain that what you have suggested here has never been done before and it is simply because it defies all good reasoning. You are not only going to ruin a S2000 by creating such a conversion, but you will be spending an enormous amount of money, time, and effort on the custom work alone. You will be much better off selling your S2000 to someone who will appreciate and enjoy a RWD sports car (regardless of weather) and using the funds to buy a Del Sol, swap a K20 in it, and most likely still have money left over. A Del Sol may not be a true convertible but it does have a targa top and makes more sense in regards to your goal.

This has to be a troll thread, there is no way anyone is serious asking a question as to converting an s2k to a fwd. I agree get rsx or si you get your k and fwd. Sorry not trying to be an ass or rude but this is one of the funniest post I have read in a while.

The Del-sol idea actually does sound like your best option.

so you bought the car and now you want to remove the fun factor? jesus, ive never heard anyone TRYING to convert there car/truck/helicopter to fwd. I know people who have fwd cars always talk about converting it to rwd.. Either sell the car for a prius or move to where the sunshine is. Speaking of that.. Isnt the winter season over? If your joking and your trying to go that far to piss off half the forum then be my guest. Otherwise if you are even remotely serious, sell it..

Convert the S to FWD? You trolling?
No just simply asking a question. I'm sure someone has done this before.
No. Because it makes absolutely no logical sense to do such a thing.

First off sorry to burst your bubble but no this isn't a troll thread. I was asking a simple question but Instead I mostly got flamed. You guys have been helpful though. Yes the winter Eason is over but I figure if I start now it will be done by next winter. I don't see why making fwd will remove the fun factor. In the end it will still be an s2k. Ive already owned a del soul and hated it because it wasnt a true sports car. I'm no expert mechanic but I can figure stuff out pretty easily. That's why I was hoping someone else had already done this so I could follow their steps. I guess I'll have to make my own build thread once I get started so that others can do this swap easier.

The S is a good winter car as long as you get snow tires.
And making it fwd will remove the fun factor because fwd sucks. Im never going back to it.
