Engine takes a while to cool down?

Default Engine takes a while to cool down?
Hey guys can it just be my engine or does the F20 engine take a really long time to cool down. I came home from a drive to eat for a bit and about 2 hours later I get back in the car and its still at 2 bars After a minute or two its already at 3 bars with it just idling. Also you could definately feel the heat off the engine if you pop the hood even after 3 hours of just letting the car sit there. Is this normal...?

Well.....if it wasnt normal I dont know what you could do about it...

Your engine bay gets very warm when driving and theres a lot of metal/oil/coolant that takes more than 2 hours to cool down. Completely normal IMO

Mine's the same way, takes forever to cool down but only a second to warm up.

My car keeps my garage pretty warm for about an hour or two after I'm done driving it.

noticed you are in FL, so that explains the prolonged cool down period..

In a NY summer, my car will remain hot (to the point where you can't work under the hood) for a solid 3 hours.
