Ok! here's the scenerio, let's say I'm going 35 mph in 3rd gear and I saw a red light, step on the brake to slow down a little to like about 20-25 mph and the light turn green, still in 3rd gear and I want to accerate I hear a pitch like a hiss or whistle. Is it normal or something wrong?

sounds normal to me. It's happened to me and alot of my friends with honda's, especially when you have a cold air intake. When your in gear but driving at a low rpm the intake seems to give off a little whistle sound. I kind of like the noise and I'm pretty sure it does no damage to the cat at all.

I have experienced a similar whistle, car cold say 3-3500 rpms I get the whistle usually more in 3rd than any other gear.....I do have a cai so maybe it is that?

 

i get that whistle too just right before 3 rpm.. sounds cool as shit lol

 

My car whistles and I think it is cool. You can tell everyone you have a supercharger and then laugh. AEM CAI .

 

Very normal. My S2k with 73k whistles and my friend's brand new 05' S2k whistles too. If it's not normal, then there's something wrong with all of our cars!!
