Engineering Explained: S2000
He put up a new video. It looks like it has 100k and some fairly typical issues (burns a touch of oil, TCT is noisy). Otherwise the car is sharp. I hope he does some detailed explanations on the motor and dynos the car for before/after.
I'd like a WRX, STI, or even a FRS as a daily driver. Heck, my wife's 4-door Legacy 3.5R is very nice, especially with the EyeSight cruise control. The S2000 is my summer, open, fun car but as we all know is pretty useless other than that!
The Engineering Explained videos (there seem to be hundreds) are entertaining and -- I assume -- creditable.

It was something about suspension geometry/wheel sizing/etc., I don't remember exactly.
Yes, I too thought I would rather have an Sti. I drove my buddy's for a hours one day and came home thinking i may have to get one to replace my S2000 and CR-v. Then I drove the S2000 again. Yeah, what was I thinking? The S2000 is a much sharper and more connected experience. But i would still love to have an Sti as my main ride.
I bought an S2000 in 2010 and have not looked back. I have 40-50 track days on my S2k now.
