So it finally happened, the '02 sebring silver came in to my semi-local dealership after 4 greuling weeks of anticipation. All those feelings of suspense were quickly forgotten once I pushed that little red button we all cherish. The car is more than I even expected it to be, the last time I drove one was at my initial test drive in July of this year. The mentality I have for this car is equal to that of my sport bike. I like to just go out "riding" and having a blast just as I would take out the CBRF2 for a sunday ride. Incredible! The suspension is sick, I especially love the feel of the car in a hard turn over a bumpy surface....nothing could be tighter! In one day of driving I had about 6 people talk to me about the car and the color and shower it with complements. One man who bought a boxster S, but almost bought an s2000 was checking it out in thourough detail, maybe even detected a little moment of regret when I was showing him all the goodies.
I didn't know a car could be so impressive and feel so good to drive....a little too good in fact, boy i'm gonna get a lot of tickets.
My previous car, which is still around, is a '99 mustang GT....after driving that thing for 3 years, the s2000 feels extra-extra special! Now I know what a sports car is supposed to feel like!
Welp, it's great to have a board where I can share my new found enthusiasm with people that relate and don't think i'm crazy. All my friends think i'm some obsessed maniac now! Ahhhh will this glow ever subdue? Well now i'm rambling, here are a few pics of before and after right next to each other! Hmmm, don't know how I can get this thing to post pics directly into the thread soClick Here! to see the goods, about 12 picutres total of both cars, the mustang has a lil' work done to it by steeda, not bad, but the honda kills it.
