Essential Mods
Essential Mods? Honestly, none, except maybe a radar detector depending on your driving habits. Otherwise IMO anything you do is optional. Me? This summer I'm getting V-AFC, X-brace of somesort, 4IG CAI, Spugen SS catback TI tip exhaust, Counter sunk shift knob, Cusco CF STB (looks only
), billet pulleys, and possibly some different sway bars of some sort if budget allows for it. Not by any means essential, but by all means wanted
Curious though, I thought with the optional valve/hoses you could prevent a CAI from sucking up water? (Causing Hydrolock correct?)

This may add significant expense, but an auto-latch for the top, a-la BMW Z4 would be nice... Open the top via remote before getting in the car, close it after getting out while walking away... Would be a nice compliment to the one touch open and close
Strike,
Perhaps you should have done a poll of some sort asking which mods people felt were "essential." I don't think there would be as many as you think that would vote CAI as a "no brainer mod."
Personally I feel a much better stereo would have been nice but I can most definitely do without a nav system. I don't care to have a GPS capable car that can be tracked at any time by law enforcement.
