Well, Greg, I had about a dozen sets made, in total. Hardly a commecial venture. I've given 5 sets away. Folks have purchased another 5. You don't have to worry about me even covering my costs. I post the pictures because I think they look great. So, to make Greg happy, please everyone, do not order any of these head rests. I have 2 sets left and will be giving them away as well. In every case that I have given sets away, I have selected folks whose humanity has shown through in their posts. There are many more folks who deserve them out there than there are headrests to give away, so I hope no one is offended by not getting a set. You, Greg, you have nothing to worry about in this regard.

Greg,

Phil (2x6speeds) is not SELLING anything. He has offered to give them away to people he likes. He has given me a pair and they are very nice indeed.

Users ARE allowed to talk up a product manufacturers are not unless they are sponsors. I hardly think Phil falls into the catagory of a manufacturer because he had his own design made up custom and had a few extra sets made up that he graciously gives away as he sees fit.

Come on Greg, you were stirring up 2x6 to get a rise and you got it. Congratulations

In the process you managed to give s2k2001silver and any other newbies the impression that we're all a bunch of b!tching kids.

s2k2001silver don't be disheartened. In general the discussions here are far more mature than this example.

BTW, s2k2001silver an aluminium Dead Pedal from one of our sponsors is a nice addition. I won't mention any particular supplier for fear of being called Mingsters shill (this is a new term for me).

Users are indeed allowed to 'talk up' a 'product' if and only if they are a sponsor and are paying to be so...that's all I was pointing out.
No, users can talk up anything they want as long as they have no interest in the sale of said product. A VENDOR who is not a sponsor can't sell his stuff in the threads. I can rave about Plexus or some other product who does not sponsor this board as long as I don't have any connection to that product other than being a satisfied customer.

That is my understanding and has been the case as far back as I can remember.

For example "I think Mobil 1 is great" "I recommend everyone try it after their engine breaks in." I have no connection with Mobil 1 other than being a happy customer and Mobil 1 is not a sponsor.

Keep trying, you will understand how it works eventually.

Just trying to "help out" also.

You guys are an embarassment. Have a look at how this thread started, then look at what you've done with it.

Well anyways...back to the thread

On second thought, some essential items to get would be an alarm and/or Lojak. Also, a radar detector.

This is the kind of $hit along with the "stick vs. mods" that is turning S2000online.com into a hostile place!

I think everyone needs to chill (Prozac or some kind bud usually works) and turn down the volume a bit!

Why is this happening?

oh, don't forget to get the wind deflector. I never drove my car w/o it, but when it's on, wind turbulence is very low.
