Do you know if Honda made any differences regarding the gear box ratios and the final gear differential ratio in the MY04 or MY05 ??
I am talking only for European or Japan cars that still equipped with the 2.0L (F20C) engine.

they changed the final dif ratio from 4,1:1 to 4,76:1, thats why the new model has a better accelaration in 4th, 5th and 6th gear.

As you can see, they changed nothing. All 2.0L cars have the same transmission gearing and all 2.2L cars have the same gearing. The rear gear is and has always been 4.10.

They get some of the changes to the transmission (ex: carbon fibre synchros), but the ratios remain the same as was stated already.

 

can the cf synchros be installed in a pre 04 S?

No, or atleast that is what has been posted on that topic. I don't think anyone has actually tried.
