Euro Clears pics and questions.....
By closely examining the Euro clear housing....I'm questioning myself if I want to go through the "break-apart" procedure! The only reason I want to do this procedure was to get the clears out and duplicate and sell them. It looks very tight with plastic tabs. The sealant is some sort of black rubber.
Those who have done this, how in the world did you do it without any problems???
I bought a heat gun and everything, ready to do today, but now by looking at it close, I'm doubting myself.

Notice the plastic tabs on the top, they are all around the housing.

Notice the square plastic piece with screw in it, MG Racings $25 aiming device.

Pic through the projector lense, TV in background is upside down.

The part numbers.

I had problems doing this procedure and wouldn't try it again. It took me about three hours getting them apart and another three hours putting them back together. I had to use a lot of sealant to keep it water tight as the plastic rim become very distorted trying to dislodge it from the lens.
I'll make this short... I have posted like 30 times on the subject and am getting bored... If you apply heat to half of the circumference (constantly moving the heat gun) starting with the pointy end and then going after the second half... it takes ~15 minutes to pull them apart.
Keep in mind, there are two internal glued points that have to be pried apart with your hands.
The hardest part of the whole thing is complete sealed reassembly. It can be done if you scrape off almost all of the thermoplastic adhesive from the front lense and keep all of the active adhesive on the base. Ultimately, you should still add a little extra sealant after all done...
Bottom line... don't take them apart! It's not worth it! After opening my stock lenses, opening the Euro lenses, and swapping corner pieces... I decided the "sealed" question gave me no piece of mind... so I purchased a fresh set of Euro lenses and WILL NOT OPEN THEM!

Thanks shaner! I know you've done it many times! That's why I thought to myself that I could do it too!
But realizing your frustrations....I'm not going to do it myself or may not do it at all.
BTW, did you want your oranges pieces back? I can send them back to you now. Thanks for sending them out to me!
