Its been so nice in the Delaware valley latley i've kept my top open over night and today it rained a little and my wife came home and told me the top was still down . Lol, had to dry off the inside but I was lucky it didn't downpour, 1st time in 2 years I let that happen,

Ha ha ha!! Sorry, not laughing at you, but with you. I've been caught on the freeway with the top down, but luckily, it stopped by the time I had to get off on an exit. Not a drop in the cabin.

Haha, that makes me think of another great S moment in my life, driving down the NJ turnpike and it started raining, had the top down of course and I didn't get wet . If i slowed to 65 i felt a couple of drops but as long as I stayed around 70-75 i was a ok. the looks i were getting were priceless,

I do all the time when im driving... Its just something I deal with living in oregon...

I did the mod so I can put the top up while im moving...that way when I am coming to a stop (never do it above like 15mph), I can put the top up and have it up by the time I stop

This actually worked for me the one time it happened. The windshield seems to have a knack for blowing the rain up and over the car for the most part if you keep moving pretty fast. I barely got wet and was able to get to a gas station and put the top up. I don't have that problem much anymore with the hardtop

I've been pretty frickin' wet before even driving at 50 - 60. It really depends on how hard it is raining and how big those drops are. It seems the biggest issue is all the water the wipers are tossing over to the driver's side so putting up the windows helps. Really I think we got the most wet when we finally said "screw it-- pull over and put it up as fast as possible".

Oh well, we and what was wet in the car dried out quickly with the AC on.
