Default Ever let your parents drive your S?

So I'm 23 years old and very lucky to have an S2000. My parents have been spoiling me my whole life so I can't complain. I bought the S on my own so it's actually mine.

Today I'm visiting them and my Dad asks for the first time if he can take a cruise in it with Mom. In my head I immediately thought of all the bad things that could happen but quickly replied "Yeah sure" when I remembered all the bad things I did to their cars.

I know I'm getting sentimental but I smiled for 5 solid minutes after I watched them drive down the road with the top down.

My Dad grew up driving some serious sports cars but he hasn't had one since I was born so it made me so happy to see him driving the 21st century version of his old cars.

Triumph TR2-quite possibly both of our favorites of all time
Triumph TR6
MGB

Just wondering if anyone else lets their parents cruise their S???

WE ARE the parents. So far only one other person has driven our "S" and it wasn't our son.

Im 17 and bought mine... My dad has an AMG but used to have Morgans, MGs, etc as well and I always let him drive mine. My mom has a Miata so she doesn't care (doesn't know the difference). I really enjoy letting my dad drive it. I also love watching my Grandpa drive it as well... But then again I let anybody drive my car. My car is my life and I love it to death, but in the end, it's still a car so I'll let others appreciate it as well. There's a lot of loving from this car.

Yup, my drive is the only person that has driven my car execpt for me. I would let my mom drive it if she was better at driving a manual, but if she tells me one day to give her the keys I would.

whenever i let me dad drive, i have to ride him to take it over 6000rpms.

all it takes is once, then its vtec all the time, and i have to remind him its ok to shift when just crusing!

Have had my S2000 for 2 years. I'm 22 years old, and have paid for my car all the way. My dad test drove the car with me before I bought it, thats the last time he has driven it. I wouldn't mind them driving it, they won't because they don't want to damage it. They know how much I love the car so I don't blame them. The only other person to drive my car was my girlfriend.
