yeh! I was like this one guy last week wants to buy a s2k on the general chat and it says hes an owner already weird!

I've noticed the same thing. Honestly, I can't even find the screen to enter my VIN, so I'm guessing it was transferred from v3. . .

ahaha, oh well. Not that big of a deal if they own one or not, if they are on this site then that shows their interest in the S... that's all that matters

Actually, you don't have to put in your VIN. When I got my S, I came here and someone told me that I had to put my VIN number in somewhere to get the "Owner" status. But I didn't see a VIN number option any where but there was a question that asked if I was an owner:

Do you own an S2000?

This was in my profile, I answered Yes and I entered the rest of the info about my car.

I think there used to be rules about buying/selling stuff on v3, or am I mistaken? Other than that, I guess it's just an ego thing.
