Thats the thing I'm wondering, considering the stock seats are actually made by recaro and come reclinable, how would it differ? Also if you consider that all recaros (even the universal ones which obviously fit in the s2000) are generally the same size weither they come in the STi's, EVO's, Type-R's and etc... But what do you think?
The stock seats were made to specifically for the S2000. They are much thinner than all other reclinable Recaro seats and have smaller shoulder bolsters. It's hard to tell without having them side-by-side, but other reclinable Recaros (even universal ones) are just too big for the S2000.

I have thought about the same thing and was thinking about swapping out the seats for JDM ITR recaros. The seat should physically fit inside the s2000, its just that no one makes rails for it. You have to find someone to fabricate some rails for you or i was thinking you could modify some bride rails to fit onto the Recaros since both are bottom mounted seats.

The SRDs (same design as the ITRs) will work with Bride rails, but they WILL rub on your door.
