I say do it I did the same thing I had a evox gsr that I dd and tracked a lot then sold it to get a gas saver and another s2k I'm glad I did as you will probably agree there is just something about the s2k that the evo just doesn't give to you. That being said I still wouldn't mind another evo in the future maybe the next gen or so

Just seems to me Honda did it right all the way around with the s2000. Anyone can slap a turbo on their motor for the big hp numbers. Yea the stock s2k wont be as fast in 1/4 mile. But driving the s is fun. I know you want that extra hp sitting at the red light next to the evo but how many times are you gona have to do that. Just slap a bottle on it call it good. Most of the time the stock hp is plenty of fun and will give most cars a run for the money. And on twisties the s has many advantages.
Put the top down then its even more clear what car is better.

Well I decided to keep the evo for now. Thinking I will just save up and buy an older s2000.

Good choice. Best of both worlds!

Mine was 2-3 owners, $18250 for 42K miles. '06-07 is the best year (AP2, drive-by-wire pre-TPMS) and LBP is the best color. Here's a few photos to persuade you

I'm just lucky to own both cars. I own a 2008 evo x mr and 07 s2000. Pros on s2000 is the driving feel of a good handling car. it puts smile every time I put the top down. The evo is a fun car also, and having 4 door i can take my family with me.Cons on the evo is gas mileage and maintenance. S2000 is cheaper to maintain.you cant go wrong with both cars both has pros and cons. but I'll never give up my s2000. The Evo I'm not sure how long will I keep it.
